Pecan Pie Cake Recipe

Ingredients:
Basic Cake:
1 stick oleo, melted
1 yellow cake mix (reserve 2/3 c.)
1 egg

Topping:
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. white corn syrup
1 1/2 c. pecans
Reserved 2/3 c. cake mix

Directions:
First Baking:
Mix oleo, egg, and cake mix together. Press in greased, floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Topping:
Mix together brown sugar, syrup, eggs, pecans, vanilla, and remaining cake mix. Spread over crust. Bake 30-35 minutes.
