Fried Oysters Recipe

Ingredients:
Fresh shucked oysters
Flour
1 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
Cracker crumbs

Directions:
Drain oysters on paper towels. Mix together milk and egg. Dip each oyster first into the flour, then into the milk and egg mixture, and then dip in the cracker crumbs. Fry in deep oil (preferably peanut oil). Drain on paper towels.

Our local seafood restaurant specializes in their fried shrimp and oysters. They also use this batter for their onion rings (same ingredients and method). Delicious!!! Hope you enjoy using this recipe as much as I do.
