Ingredients:
2 1/4 Cups flour (sifted)1 tsp. soda 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 cup cocoa 2/3 cup margarine 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 tsp vanilla 3 eggs 1 cup water 3/4 cup well-drained chopped sauerkraut
Directions:
Add soda, baking powder, salt & cocoa to sifted flour and sift again together. Cream margarine & sugar till light & fluffy. Add vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add dry ingredients, alternately with the 1 cup of water beating till smooth. Add sauerkraut & mix well. Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. |
