Four Roses Eggnog Recipe | |

Ingredients:
6 eggs1 cup sugar 1 pint heavy cream 1 pint milk 1 pint Four Roses (hard to find) or Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 1 oz. Meyers Rum Grated Nutmeg to taste
Directions:
Separate eggs. Add 1/2 cu. sugar to the yolks and beat untilsmooth. Add 1/2 cu. sugar to whites AFTER beating very stiff. In a large bowl or punch bowl, mix egg whites with yolks.Stir in 1 pint heavy cream and 1 pint milk. Add a pint of Four Roses or other and 1 oz. Meyers Rum Stir thoroughly. Serve cold with grated nutmeg. serves 10 Usually make several days before using. Store Eggnog in GLASS bottles in refrigerator. Keeps well. We have successfully doubled this recipe and have been making it for the last 44 years. NOEL!!
