Ham and Beans Recipe

  Pork

Ingredients:
Bag of dried small white beans (soak overnight in salt water)
Large Onion chopped
Hambone and juice

Directions:
Soak overnight in salt water bag of dried small white beans. Combine these two chopped onion and Hambone and juice in a large pan with water to cover bone. Boil steadily until meat falls off. Retieve bone - add beans, salt and pepper.
Turn down heat and cook beans until soft. Juice will be creamy looking and will thicken. This should not be a soup.

Serve in bowls with cornbread.
