Pesto Recipe | |

Ingredients:
2 cups fresh washed basil2-4 cloves garlic 1/2 cup of pine nuts, walnuts or pecans 1/4 cup fresh grated parmesean 2/3 cup olive oil
Directions:
Blend in food processor until smooth. After your pasta noodles are cooked and drained put pesto on noodles, as much as you desire. If you plan to use pesto thoughtout the year, as I do, you can freeze it in ice cube trays, then you can take out 2 - 3 cubes whenever you need it. If freezing, don't add the cheese until you actually use the pesto or it tends to get grainy in texture. Add more garlic if you wish, experiment! Pesto is also great on grilled chicken.
