German Stuffed Eggs (Gefullte Eier) Recipe

  German Appetizer

Ingredients:
Hard cooked eggs

Directions:
Cook as may eggs as needed, shell cut in half and scoop out the centers.
Fill with any of the following mixtures:
Pounded anchovies, salt and pepper, mixed with the mashed yolks.
Mashed yolks mixed with dry mustard, chopped capers and finely chopped parsley.
Chopped cold chicken, cooked chopped celery, and mayonnaise, mixed with the chopped yolks.
Cold fish rubbed through a sieve, mixed with the mashed yolks and a little paprika, and garnished with chopped tomato.
Mashed yolks with crab, garnished with mayonnaise. Top each half with a shrimp.
