Sheperd's Pie (Pate Chinois) Recipe | |
Canadian Beef | |
Ingredients:
1 Pound lean ground beef1 big can cream corn 3 cups mashed potato 1 small onion, salt pepper 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
Sautee onion in a bit of oil. Add beef and cook 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper.Line a pyrex dish with the meat. Cover with corn. Add the mashed potato on top and also the cheese. Cook for 30 minutes at 350F. Bon Appetit!! This is a recipe that dates from the pioners' days. Not fancy but filling for winter's days.
