Eggless, Milkless, Butterless Cake Recipe | |

Ingredients:
1 C brown sugar1 C water 1 1/2 C raisins 1/3 C shortening 1 tsp cinammon 1/3 tsp cloves 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 2 C flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. soda
Directions:
Boil first 7 ingredients together fro 3 minutes. Let cool, then add soda, dissolved in a little warm water. Add the flour which has been sifted with the baking powder. Bake in a loaf pan at 350F for 30 minutes. This is only enough for 1 small loaf pan....you might want to double the recipe.
