Sausage-Nut Stuffing Recipe | |
American Stuffing | |
Ingredients:
1/4 c. sausage meat1/4 c. butter or margarine 2 tbsp. minced onion 1/2 tsp. paprika 3/4 tsp. salt 1/4 c. chopped celery 1/4 c. chopped parsley 3 1/2 c. soft stale-bread crumbs (I like to use part cornbread) 1/2 c. chopped pecans or other nuts Milk or chicken broth
Directions:
Cook sausage until golden brown, breaking up with a fork. Add butter & onion. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat & add next 6 ingredients. Add enough milk to moisten and mix well. Place in well greased casserole and bake in a 350 oven about 25 minutes. |
