Mincemeat tarts Recipe | |
Cookie | |
Ingredients:
One recipe of your favorite pie crust (or store bought)One jar mincemeat Powdered sugar
Directions:
Prepare dough for pie crust. Roll out to about 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into circles (or any shape you like) using a cookie dutter. Spoon a tablespoon or so of mincemeat onto the circle and cover with another. Press sides down using a fork to seal the edges. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned. Do not overbake. Serve warm or cold dusted with powdered sugar. (Tarts can be reheated in the microwave if desired). Not necessarily gooey, but these always go over well for me at Christmas time. They're also quick and easy to make.
