Homemade Italian Beef Recipe

  American Beef

Ingredients:
2lbs thinly sliced roast beef (from the Deli -- I prefer Boar's Head brand)
2 cans beef broth
1 teaspoon chooped garlic
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil
sprinkle of crushed red peppers
shredded cheddar or cheeze whiz
French/Hoagie style rolls

Directions:
mix all seasonings with cans of beef broth and 2 coans of water -- bring to a boil; add roast beef and simmer for 20 minutes.

Open french rolls and drip some of the au jus from the simmering roast beef on each side; add roast beef and top with cheese -- use reserved au jus for dipping -- yummy
