Butterscotch Sauce Recipe | |

Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar1/4 c. flour 1 c. boiling water Dash of salt 1/4 c. butter or margarine 3 tbsp. light cream or evaporated milk 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions:
Mix sugar with flouor. Stir in boiling water & salt. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth & thick, 6-8 minutes. Add more boiling water if sauce is too thick. Stir in remaining ingredients and blend well. Reheat & serve warm. Makes abouot 2 cups. |
