LEMON SUGAR COOKIES Recipe | |

Ingredients:
1 c. margarine, softened2 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 c. oil 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 tsp. lemon extract 5 c. sifted flour 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tsp. soda 2 tsp. cream of tartar
Directions:
Combine margarine, sugar, eggs, oil and flavorings in bowl; mix well. Add flour, salt, soda and cream of tartar; mix well. Chill dough in refrigerator overnight for best results. Shape into walnut sized balls. Place 1 inch apart on cookie sheet; flatten with glass dipped in additional sugar. Sprinkle with additional sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until brown. Yield: 60 cookies.
