Ingredients:
1/2 c. shortening (not oil)1/2 c. butter or margarine 3 tbsp. flour, heaping 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. milk 1 tbsp. vanilla Pinch of salt
Directions:
Cook milk and flour together over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and let cool. Mix shortening, butter or margarine, sugar, vanilla and salt in bowl until well blended (smooth and without feeling sugar). Add milk mixture and beat until smooth and fluffy. | |
