West Virginia Hot Peppers Recipe

Ingredients:
5 pounds jalapenos
1 quart tomato sauce
1 cup vinegar
1 cup cooking oil
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons sugar

Directions:
Wear rubber gloves when handling peppers. Cut peppers in half and remove seeds. Put tomato sauce, vinegar, oil, salt and sugar to boil. Add peppers and cook exactly 8 minutes. Put in hot clean canning jars and seal. Process in hot water bath for 15 minutes
