KAASTRUFFELS (Cheese Truffles) Recipe

  Dutch Appetizer

Ingredients:
1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. grated cheese
Pepper, salt, celery salt, or paprika to taste
Slices of stale pumpernickel, crumbled into fine crumbs

Directions:
Cream butter till light and fluffy. Mix in cheese and desired spices. Roll mixture into small balls about the size of a large olive. Roll balls in bread crumbs. Makes about 12.
These are very easy to make and do not need any cooking.
