Crab Dip Recipe

  American Dips

1 lb. cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 cup grated cheddar cheese, about 4 oz, divided
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2-3 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
2-3 shakes garlic salt
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 lb. fresh or canned crab meat, drained and picked over to remove any shell
Crackers or potato chips for dipping

Preheat oven to 350. In bowl with mixer set to medium-low speed beat cream cheese, sour cream, 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and lemon juice til smooth. Using spoon, stir in garlic salt and salt and pepper to taste. Stir in crab meat; transfer to baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining Cheddar cheese. Bake until hot and bubbly, 30-40 minutes. Serve with crackers or potato chips.
