Oyster Stew Recipe

  American Soup

Ingredients:
1 stick butter or margarine
1/4 or 1/2 c. chopped onions
1 pint oysters with liquid
2 cups milk
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Melt butter. Add onions. Cook just until soft. Add oysters and liquid. Cook until edges of oysters begin to curl. Add milk. Cook just until the boiling point. Add salt & pepper.
Serve with oyster crackers. Add a salad and bread and you've got a meal!
