New Orleans Barbecue Sauce Recipe | |

Ingredients:
1 cup tomato ketchup1 cup chili sauce 1/2 cup currant jelly 1/4 cup Dijon Mustard 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 2 Tablespoons steak sauce 1 teaspoon dry mustard 1/4 cup honey 1 teaspoon black pepper, coarsely cracked Salt Pork spareribs or beef short ribs(allow 1 lb. per person)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients, except ribs, and blend well. Cut ribs into serving-size pieces and cover with barbecue sauce. Marinate in refrigerator for several hours or overnight. Grill ribs over low coals for about 1 hour, basting occasionally with sauce. Turn ribs frequently. Refrigerate any leftover sauce. |
