Crockpot Spaghetti Sauce Recipe

  Italian Sauces

Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, chopped (optional)
1 clove garlic, minced
32 oz. canned whole tomatoes, cut up
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 can (12 oz.) tomato paste
1 cup beef bouillon
2 T minced parsley
1 T brown sugar
1 t basil leaves
1 t oregano leaves
1 t salt
1/4 t pepper

Directions:
Crumble and brown ground beef in a skillet with the onion and garlic. When meat loses red color, remove from heat and drain off excess fat. Put meat mixture into a crock pot and add all remaining ingredients. Stir well. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, stirring occasionally if possible. Serve hot over hot spaghetti.
Preperation requires approximately 45 minutes. May be made ahead and frozen.
