Here's the dish to make when fresh New Mexico or Anaheim green chiles come into season in late summer or early fall. You can substitute canned green chiles, but the taste will be milder. You can also stir in a large (29-ounce) can of hominy, drained and rinsed, at the point where you turn off the heat and let the stew sit. |

Not all Cincinnati Style recipes will call for chocolate, this is a pretty good one that does.
Don't forget Cincinnati style chili served alone is Chili 1-way, chili with beans added is a 2-way, a 2-way over spaghetti is a 3-way, a 3-way topped with grated cheese or chopped onion is a 4-way, and a 4-way with BOTH grated cheese AND chopped onion is a 5-way. O.K.?
